Organic Java Lemongrass essential oil

Java lemongrass essential oil, in 10 ml and 30 ml formats, is extracted by an Indonesian cooperative from the leaves of Java lemongrass. This essential oil has a fresh, lemony and herbaceous aroma.

 Java lemongrass is an herbaceous plant that can reach a height of around 1.5 to 2 meters. 

It has long, linear, narrow leaves, and its characteristic smell is reminiscent of lemon. 

Java lemongrass is grown mainly in Indonesia, particularly on the island of Java, from where it gets its name.

 Harvesting Java lemongrass is generally done when the stems reach a certain maturity, they are then cut close to the ground and the leaves are removed.
