ZIBIBBO

The sweet wine of Sicily! Zibibbo is a variety of grape originating from Egypt and grown mainly in Sicily. The name Zibibbo comes from the Arabic word zabib which means "dried grapes". Serve at 12-15-°C. It can be eaten as an aperitif (serve very cold!)or as a dessert wine to accompany Sicilian pastries, such as cannoli. This sweet wine obtained is golden yellow in color. Aromatic, intense and fruity nose with notes of almond and honey. On the palate it appears soft and harmonious with intense, very persistent typical notes.
