The term “Bourbon”, characteristic of the variety of vanilla from the Indian Ocean, is a label created in 1964. Floribis exploits this variety of vanilla which makes Madagascar famous. Not comparable to gourmet black vanilla, premium quality bourbon red vanilla releases a most intense and powerful fragrance which is reminiscent of the sweet notes of Yves Rocher's “Vanilla bourbon” perfume. Its more or less supple although drier appearance, as well as its reddish color, make red bourbon vanilla unique. This range of red vanilla is kept in a food pouch which has the advantage of keeping them protected from light and heat. If you want to store it otherwise, you will need an airtight jar placed at room temperature between 15° and 25° Celsius.
