Organic Sicilian Soft Macaroons

The organic Sicilian soft amaretti biscuits from L'Arcolaio are typical sweets of the Sicilian pastry art, with a soft and very aromatic centre. To prepare these desserts, the highest quality handcrafted organic ingredients are used: Sicilian almonds and fair trade cane sugar.  The result is easy to say, amaretti biscuits with an intense and aromatic almond flavour, very soft, fragrant and with a balanced sweetness. L'Arcolaio is a social cooperative founded in Syracuse in 2003 with the primary aim of offering qualified social and work reintegration paths to inmates of the Syracuse prison.  The main activity carried out by the cooperative today is the production of confectionery from organic farming.
