ORGANIC Sicilian Chickpea Flour

The Terravecchia company was founded in Sicily in the 1950s as a producer of chickpea flour, a fundamental ingredient widely used in Sicily for the production of the well-known Panelle. Panelle are a poor dish of the Sicilian tradition brought to the tables by the Arabs, who were the first expert gastronomes to grind chickpeas to obtain a flour. This flour is produced from organic Sicilian chickpeas and milled in the Terravecchia mill. It is very high in protein, rich in fibre, vitamins C and B.
