Small copper oil lamp

Rare small table lamp. It was made of copper worked in overhang. The metal is particularly valuable considering that the lantern is dated 1850. The lantern was completely painted in hand by particularly skilled French craftsmen. The four lenses that they make up are original. The clearly visible brand shows the name Limonges: French city famous for its exceptional manufacturing.
