A fact that Cath, the founder of akt, soon realized when working as a foster carer in the 1980s. Since then she has been tirelessly raising money to give them a more secure and sage life. Cath founded the charity in 1989. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the charity, which seems even more fitting that this is the charity we'd like to support. "What would I tell a young person?
