The French Brand
The Capercaillie
Founded in 1912 in Bellegarde (01 France), the family manufacturer of aluminum household items specialized in the early 1950s in outdoor cooking equipment under the brand "Le Grand Tétras".
A wide range of light metal utensils accompanied the post-war quest for freedom, alongside the appearance of paid leave in 1936.
Carried by the legendary concave red bottle, Le Grand Tétras products have accompanied hundreds of thousands of French people over several generations.
La Belle Gourde also accompanied the first French expeditions to the roof of the world in 1978.
