All ages - ARCHITECTURE NOTEBOOK: THE CITY

After the success of Cahier d'architecture, this new title focuses on the city. More than half of the world's population now lives in urban centers and this figure is increasing every year, leading architects and urban planners to evolve and propose new solutions. From cities of Antiquity to the present day, the author presents cities or some of their aspects which, for example, make it possible to understand the issue of lighting, transport, green spaces and offers a history of urban planning. We can thus imagine a public bench, create a storefront, a monument, redevelop Central Park, design an original corner building, a subway entrance, etc. This notebook to draw, to complete, to color offers many examples of work and ideas of major architects which can be a source of inspiration for all, teenagers, students and architects.
