Our Millenarium extra virgin olive oil is precious in its uniqueness because it is produced by the thousand-year-old olive trees that have dominated our “Cannavà” estate since time immemorial.    Producing this thousand-year-old oil means for us saving and safeguarding over a hundred hundred-year-old and thousand-year-old olive trees that are difficult to care for and difficult to safeguard.    Each bottle is unique with its unique number, an expression of sensorial research in being produced exclusively with Ottobratiche olives, a native variety.    They belong to that place and from that place they have grasped the profound essence of a story told by the wind that passes through the silver leaves since the 8th century BC.C, when in the colony of Locri Epizefiri and then in ancient Metauria (today's Gioia Tauro), the sacred olive plant was already cultivated and when the temple to Minerva was already dedicated, to whom, as is known, the olive tree was consecrated.    Our olive growing culture therefore has its roots in a thousand-year history that has come down to us through plants that have crossed the centuries and millennia.
