Build-a square puzzle, Level 2

Built on the same principles as tangram and Pythagoras puzzle, this activity was invented by Russian early learning enthusiast Boris Nikitin for very young children (recommended age - 4-5 years old). The goal is to build a square using pieces. This activity targets mental rotation skills, spatial reasoning, fine motor skills, logic, and memory. Parts of the puzzle are color-coded to help children categorize them easier. Puzzle is made out of wood and is child-safe, with no sharp edges. The puzzle consists of tasks that increase in complexity, from fewer large details to smaller, more numerous, complex configurations. To use: let the child figure out building the square on their own, asking them to pick the elements of the same color.
