This unique shakshuka recipe is cooked in Provence using French tomatoes grown in open fields. We obtain our supplies directly from a group of 50 farmers in Provence. Part of the production can also come from another group of around ten farmers in the South West, depending on the quantities harvested. This is not trivial when we know that a large part of the tomatoes present in market sauces and jars are imported from Italy or even China, which is the second largest producer in the world. •An onion from France and not China. In this cooked jar we find onions. While most of the supply today comes from China for cost reasons, our onions are French.
