Pap et Pille ALMOND Sweet Biscuit Balls 200g

On the sunny shores of Greece, Pille and I had a memorable encounter. It was a hot summer day when we landed in the coastal village of Kalamata. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, this place seemed frozen in time, imbued with the very essence of Greece. We wandered through the narrow streets, marveling at the whitewashed houses and flowering bougainvillea. Our adventure took us to a quaint little farm nestled in the heart of the countryside. It was there that we met Dimitris, an almond producer with a welcoming smile and rough hands, marked by years of work in the fields. Its almond trees stretched as far as the eye could see, their branches laden with ripe fruit. Dimitris shared his passion for his almonds with us and told us how his family has been growing almonds for generations. As we walked through the rows of almond trees, Dimitris showed us the process of harvesting and drying almonds but it was during our conversation that Dimitris shared with us an old family recipe for almond cookies. He explained to us how these cookies were made to celebrate special moments like gatherings with friends and family. Inspired by this story, we combined the rich flavors of Dimitris almonds with our creativity to create a recipe that would evoke the warmth of Greece and the passion of tradition.
