ABOUT PYBC
PYBC DESIGN was founded in 2015 in London and now based in Edinburgh. It is an individual studio of contemporary jewellery design and lifestyle handcrafts.
Our Story
Designer graduated from the University of the Art London with a Fashion Jewellery Design major and was awarded in the UK Pewter Live 2015 Design Competition with the “Memento in Motion” Collection, which was inspired by the toy in designer’s childhood - Kendama wooden balls. Thus, regarded as an opportunity to establish PYBC DESIGN and start designing wood-ball jewellery, which combining elements from life into design as the creation concept of PYBC.
Our Jewellery Design
PYBC DESIGN jewellery are all handmade designs. Mainly using the luxury natural wood such as golden sandalwood and rosewood, then hand-polished into wooden balls, with multiple layers of 14k/18k/24k gold plated or 925silver.
Our Sustainability
After making the wooden balls, there are usually lots of tiny wood pieces remaining. Thus, PYBC transferred them as the main material of incense, to be a sustainable product.
Carrying out the brand concept of “Design in Life; Life in Design", to create a series of products that are more integrated into life, lifestyle brand - PYBC.LIFE was also set up in 2021 by PYBC DESIGN. Now, not only incense but also candles, room spray and sanitizer etc. They are all zero waste and can be recycled, it is environmentally friendly and causes less pollution.
