PLANETARIUM - SERAFINO ZANI

Planetarium is an innovative, elegant and very flexible service: it includes 8 bowls, in 18/10 stainless steel, of various diameters, which combine with each other to form a single object. 
The eight bowls fit perfectly inside each other, forming a single object that becomes a single centrepiece, thus gaining precious space in the kitchen.   The bowls have multiple uses, depending on their size: egg holder for breakfast, bowls for fruit salad, for salad, for pasta....   Produced in stainless steel with a thickness of one millimeter, it has a mirror polished finish. A set of eight steel bowls of different diameters to accommodate the storage needs of each food. 
The bowls are combined to form closed containers for storing food in the fridge or for presenting it at the table; the smaller ones act as lids for the larger ones. 
When stored, they fit together perfectly to become a single sculpture object. 
The last two, united to form a satellite resting on the concentric rings, create a play of shapes and lines that ideally refers to the rings of Saturn. 
With a slight inclination, Planetarium becomes a sculpture for the home. Steel which, in the Seraphini, is combined with the alder wood of the cutting boards, the white porcelain of the baking dishes, the glass of the cruets, the copper and titanium covering of the kettles and coffee pots, giving life to unique objects in which form and function find a perfect balance.
