The system is compeltely "inkless" in that the enclosed towelette (used to itentify newborns in the USA) is dry to the touch, but leaves an impression when combined with the included, sensitised paper. Each kit includes 1 towelette; 2 pieces of coated paper; comprehensive instructions. Enough to take two prints.
