Nicknamed "Lebanese couscous", Levantine couscous pearls belong to the oriental culinary heritage. Composed of whole wheat semolina, salt and water, they are inseparable from moghrabieh, a traditional stew made with chicken, onions and chickpeas. Perfect accompaniment to meat and fish, it is a perfect substitute for rice or pasta with its mild flavor and original texture. It can also become a valuable ingredient for your mixed salads. Made from wheat produced by local farmers, these small ethical grains are processed by a women's cooperative. The couscous pearls or mograbieh are in 5kg bags.
