1989 is a craft brewery founded at the end of 2019 by 3 childhood friends: Thibault, Cédric and Thibaut. We have come a long way before settling down, in September 2022 as professionals, in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in the Rouen metropolitan area. We offer original and creative craft beers to represent the beers we love as well as the plurality of styles found throughout the world.
BREWING
We love craft beers with flavor, with a preference for mostly American styles. Our beers are made exclusively from noble raw materials in order to guarantee optimal quality. Brewing is a meticulous process where every step counts, from the infusion of the malts to the addition of hops, which gives our recipes intense and balanced aromas. By playing with cereal varieties and fermentation techniques, we obtain beers with rich flavors, combining roundness and character.

Our permanent range offers essential recipes, carefully brewed to guarantee consistent quality. From Hazy Classic, our first creation re-adjusted into NEIPA, to Dragon Power, including the other essentials Star Light, Fury IPA and Trippel Fusion. A wide choice for all tastes.
Ephemeral Range
At the same time, we enjoy exploring new flavors with ephemeral beers. Each limited-edition brew is an opportunity to test bold blends, rare hops and innovative styles, offering enthusiasts a constantly renewed discovery.
