Ginger essential oil, in 5 ml format, is carefully extracted from ginger roots by our Sri Lankan producers. This essential oil offers a powerful, spicy and slightly lemony aroma. Ginger is a rhizomatous plant with green stems and lance-shaped leaves. Native to Southeast Asia, ginger has been cultivated for thousands of years and spread across the world through explorers and trade. It is grown in many tropical and subtropical regions, each with its own varieties and growing methods. The ginger harvest takes place after about 8 to 10 months of growth, when the rhizomes reach maturity. They are then dug up, cleaned and dried in the sun. Rhizomes can be used fresh, dried or made into powder, providing a wide range of culinary and medicinal uses. _______ Directions for use: One or two drops to flavor culinary preparations.
