Organic Rosehip Vegetable Oil

Rosehip vegetable oil, in 50ml format, is extracted from the seeds of the wild rosehip by our Chilean producers. 

Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin A and antioxidants, it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars and dark spots, while improving the skin's elasticity and luminosity.   The rosehip, a wild species native to Central Asia, is a thorny shrub that can reach a height of 2 meters. 

It prefers temperate to cool climates and often grows in mountainous areas or regions with cold winters.   After flowering, the plant produces fleshy fruits called rose hips, which contain the rosehip seeds. 

The harvest of rose hips is generally done in the fall, when the fruits have reached full maturity.   During World War II, surgeons observed that applying rosehip oil to the wounds of injured children promoted faster healing and reduced scar formation. 

This observation prompted extensive research into its healing properties.
