Our Schisandra hydroalcoholic extract is made with the dried berries and is grown in China. This plant, a tree-like vine, grows naturally in East Asia, particularly in China, Russia (Eastern Siberia), Korea and Japan and thrives mainly in humid temperate forests. History: Schisandra (Schizandra chinensis) has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years. Its Chinese name, Wǔ Wèi Zi (五味子), means "fruit with five flavors" because it contains sweet, salty, bitter, sour and spicy notes. Also used in traditional Russian (Siberian), Japanese and Korean medicine as a tonic that strengthens vital energy. Properties: - An adaptogen, it is particularly effective in combating physical and mental stress, reducing fatigue, and improving endurance. -Improves cognitive functions, enhancing memory, concentration and intellectual fluidity. -Strengthens the liver by promoting its detoxification and stimulating the production of enzymes. -Stimulates immunity by improving physical resistance and general and sexual tone (especially for low libido). Ingredients (per 2 pipettes - 2 ml): Schisandra* (schizandra chinensis - fruit) 520 mg - Additives: water, organic grain alcohol Extraction technique: This extract is obtained by a long, slow percolation of the crushed dried fruit, concentrated 1:4. Directions for use: Take 1 to 2 pipettes (30 to 60 drops) per day in the evening, mixed with water or your hot beverage. Precaution for use: Always seek the advice of your doctor.
