After being carefully cleaned and washed, the fruit is simply cooked in a pot with the sole addition of cane sugar. Thus we obtain a product that enhances the flavor of the fruit used and with the artisan characteristics that only our mothers can match. For the production of 100 grams of jam, 155 grams of juicy figs are used. It is an excellent product when paired with freshly toasted bread, "whitened" with alpine butter. The combination with blue cheeses (also called blue cheeses) and with seasoned and spicy pecorino cheeses is recommended.
