At Pascual Berganzo we are a 100% family and artisan winery. We specialize in carbonic maceration wines (harvest wines) and other high-quality Rioja Alavesa wines.
We are in the heart of Samaniego, the golden mile of Rioja Alavesa. My family's Pascual Berganzo wineries date back to the 17th century, in fact you can visit the cellars in the wine cellar.
My father, Eduardo Pascual, was part of the new generation of growers in the 80s. They were in charge of making aromatic young wines in stone presses.
Today we continue to respect tradition, but we have also incorporated stainless steel tanks to make other high-quality wines and help us control the temperature of white and crianza wines.
I strictly follow the traditions of my grandfather and my father. I am currently responsible for a new generation of wines with the Alútiz brand (in honor of my mother) as well as opening the doors to our house.
We currently make 8 different wines, each one for each person. Four of them would be young and another four we include in the category of aged. You can find all the information on each wine in our store.
