Vincent Van Gogh said that "the only time I feel free is when I am painting" and never has a phrase so carefully described my relationship with drawing since I was a child.
Creating has always plunged me into a state of happiness that temporarily makes all my worries disappear. Sometimes I feel like my mind is expanding to unthinkable limits, reaching the point of losing control of my own body. Almost as if my hands were acting on their own. And I leave them.
With this vitality that coexists in me, years after graduating in Business Administration and Law, I decided to say goodbye to settlements and laws to dedicate myself to art. Since then, I have trained in illustration, graphic design, printmaking, bookbinding and lindy hop. Yeah! I also feel free when I dance. And why not do it all?
Ama' is an illustration and engraving brand that has been forming little by little since 2016 and that values above all the essence of what is handmade. It is when I feel the entire process pass through my hands, when I feel fully fulfilled. That is why I try to pay special attention to taking care of all the details, from the creation of the product itself through the use of analog means, to the creation of its packaging.
