ANAKENA – Natural Cosmetics was born on the most remote inhabited island in the world: Easter Island, famous for its monumental stone sculptures called Moai. For over 25 years, I, Petra Klimscha, founder of the brand, have lived on this fascinating island in the heart of the Pacific. Here I developed a deep connection to Polynesian culture and nature, which is at the heart of Anakena.

With great respect for the millennia-old beauty rituals and untouched nature of Polynesia, we draw inspiration from a world where tradition and sustainability go hand in hand. Many of our high-quality ingredients come from tropical, natural regions of Polynesia and are sustainably harvested to preserve their purity and effectiveness.

The heart of our care is the legendary Monoï de Tahiti oil – a symbol of the South Seas, obtained from freshly picked Tiaré flowers that macerate in coconut oil. This oil is not only available as a pure product, but also refines our body lotion and face cream, turning them into a special care experience.

Every ANAKENA product tells the story of sun, sea and tropical abundance. Our recipes combine the wisdom of Polynesian traditions with modern, gentle production in Europe.
