“Nature is my studio”. I'm a botanical illustrator and can often be found outside with a watercolor box and paper. I am fascinated by our local flora, it is so diverse and colorful. What others think is inconspicuous and do not see is actually a detailed masterpiece of nature. You just have to take the time to look closely.
My fine plant and animal portraits are handcrafted into expressive prints and lovingly designed stationery - so that a piece of nature can go out into the world and bring joy.
I print exclusively on recycled paper in a small, family-run company in Germany and my packaging material is compostable. Art prints are an exception - their paper simply cannot work with the sun's rays, as recycled paper does. That's why I use pH-neutral paper here, free of woody fibers. It meets all photo and archival needs. The inks for the art prints are gallery quality and are very resistant to UV radiation and moisture. This means the prints retain their color intensity and sharpness over many years.
