Calendula oil

Calendula oil is an oleolite, obtained from the maceration of calendula officinalis flowers in extra virgin olive oil. Through this procedure, the active ingredients contained in the plant are transferred to the oil, thus obtaining a remedy containing active ingredients with medicinal properties that give it beneficial actions for the treatment of many ailments and skin problems. It has an emollient, soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory and healing action on sensitive or irritated skin. It is used effectively to nourish and moisturize dry, chapped, delicate and easily reddened skin; in the presence of dermatosis, sunburn, diaper rash, minor burns and allergic reactions. In case of dry and cracked skin, calendula oil applied to the skin will give quick relief, as it softens and elasticises the skin, while reducing irritation as it heals and burns red and sensitive skin.
