LAVENDER HONEY - 250g

This mild Lavender Honey reveals sweet flavors and aromas of straw and dried flowers, followed by a slight tangy hint of harlequin candy. Produced by my bees and harvested by me in the north of Vaucluse, it is the summer honey par excellence of the South from the nectar of the blue gold of Provence, lavender. Silver medalist in the 2021 French honey competition, it is a very clear honey which, due to its glucose content, will end up crystallizing naturally in winter. It is possible to make it liquid again by heating the jar of honey in a bain-marie without exceeding 42°C to preserve the properties of honey. This honey goes everywhere and is used in the kitchen to make the famous nougat of Montélimar. It goes perfectly on cheese platters, at breakfast on toast or to sweeten a hot drink.
