Created in May 2018 and becoming an association under the 1901 law in July 2019, Aponi Histoire de Femmes was born from the desire to respond to the specific needs of women at each stage of their lives. Founded by Solen Carré, mother of four daughters and a committed socio-cultural facilitator for over ten years, the association is part of a profoundly humanist and ecological approach.
Solen, inspired by her personal journey and her convictions, wanted to create a space that values feminine dignity, solidarity between women, and mutual understanding between genders. This project, rooted in values of resilience, self-acceptance, and respect, was born with a clear ambition: to support women in their personal, social and economic development.
From the very beginning, Aponi has distinguished itself through concrete actions, notably the fight against menstrual insecurity thanks to the "A towel for all" initiative, which has made it possible to distribute hygiene products
