100% natural, silica and magnesium ions, iron and calcium oxide Rhassoul (or Ghassoul) is a natural clay mineral, used for centuries in Morocco, to wash the body and the hair. It is extracted from the Atlas Mountains. Unlike shampoos and soaps, Rhassoul contains no surfactant, its cleaning process is purely physical. Composed of very fine particles, Rhassoul mixed with water becomes a paste that absorbs impurities and fats which are eliminated during rinsing. This very gentle wash does not completely remove the lipoprotective film from the skin and hair, as the surfactants generally used in shampoos can do. Rhassoul does not attack the natural protective sheath of the hair and it does not irritate the sebaceous glands. Recommended for sensitive and allergic skin. Rhassoul is a 100% ecological product because it does not contain surfactants or any other polluting component!
