Sur del Lago 71% - Zulia, Venezuela

Sur del Lago cocoa is the result of a natural hybridization of different varieties of Criollo and Trinitario cocoa, making it rich and very complex on the palate. It grows in the region "south of the lake" of Maracaibo in the west of Venezuela in the states of Merida, Tachira, Trujillo and Zulia. In the aromatic profile we find notes of dried fruits and cream enriched by tropical fruit and jams and a complex floral bouquet. European Silver Winner 2024 International Chocolate Awards
