Peru compostable coffee capsule x 10

Artisans du Monde's Peru coffee is a high altitude coffee sweet and very fruity with reminiscent of dark chocolate. He is resulting from the work of 3 producer organizations: Norandino, Cecovasa and Sol y Café. Norandino is an agricultural cooperative created in 2005. It pools the harvest of 20 groups of producers, thus giving them access to infrastructure modern transformation. About 7000 families of small producers of coffee, cocoa and sugar in the northwest of Peru benefit from this initiative. The cooperative acts on the environmental plan through a program of reforestation. Replanting over long cycles is carried out on infertile land, upstream of the plantations of coffee, by vulnerable populations who find it a significant economic support. Pure arabica coffee is of the "Typica" variety, considered historically as one of the first varieties of coffee. It is cultivated in agroforestry, in the shade of fruit trees which contribute to feeding the families of producers of Coffee. This complementarity between coffee cultures and food crops ensure the preservation of biodiversity.
