Organic Sumac - 60g

Organic ground sumac, offered under the Artisans du Monde brand, is a tangy and fruity spice, traditionally used in many Lebanese dishes. This sumac comes from the Menjez cooperative, helping to support small local producers while ensuring fair trade practices. Used since Antiquity, sumac is an emblematic spice of oriental cuisine. It results from the crushing and drying of sumac berries (Rhus coriaria) taking place during the summer. Forming a slightly moist red-brown powder, it has a tangy, lemony flavor that brings a Mediterranean breeze to salads, meats and eggs.
