Saint-Nazaire / Saint-Nazaire Bridge

An elegant curve, 61 m. high and over 3 km long, the Saint-Nazaire bridge is one of the largest cable-stayed bridges in Europe. It offers us an impressive view of the Loire estuary, between Saint-Nazaire and Saint-Brévin. Commissioned on October 18, 1975, it replaces the old ferries that used to cross the Loire and of which we can still see, on both banks, the remains of the landing stage.
