Galloway Hoard Replica Bossed Disc Brooch

This Galloway hoard replica brooch is decorated with animals reminiscent of the Trewhiddle style of ornamentation, boss capped rivets, and a small amount of openwork. This brooch is available in both pewter and silver. The silver version has black enamel to represent the niello used on the original. Both versions have robust catches that are suitable for historical re-enactment. This brooch is around 51mm in diameter at its widest point. In pewter it weighs approx. 24g.
