Product from organic farming, certified by FR-BIO-01 Originating from the terroirs of Planadas and Gaitania, south of the Tolima region, this coffee is grown in a high altitude area very often crossed by clouds. It is from this particularity that its name takes its origin, since “Fábrica” comes from “Cloud factory”. The coffee is produced by indigenous hands, with high altitude and environmentally friendly ecological practices. The cultivated varieties are well adapted to the climate and environment, resulting in highly productive and profitable plants. Producers also grow corn, beans and staple foods among the coffee plants and in shaded plots. The harvest depends on soil fertility, flowering and fruit development. The collection takes place every 20 days and, thanks to the warm climate, the fruits are harvested throughout the year, with peak periods in April, May, June, October and November.
