The story of L’Atelier de la Belle Étoile began in 2014, when Romain, a comic book artist, imagined and made a unique wooden toy for his daughter.
His goal ? Create a durable, beautiful and meaningful object. With Mathilde, his partner, he then decided to transform this passion into a real craft project. Together, they founded a workshop where each creation is made with care, respecting traditions and materials.
Le résultat ? Wooden toys handcrafted in France in our Savoyard workshop. Unique designs with rounded, soft lines, slightly retro but also resolutely modern and futuristic. Zero waste manufacturing and small series (our toys are even numbered!)Healthy and safe materials for children, of French or European origin, which meet the most demanding health standards.
