Located in Genay, on the outskirts of Lyon, Aurélien Plassard Chocolatier is an artisanal chocolate shop founded by Aurélien Plassard, a passionate chocolatier trained in prestigious Lyon establishments.

Our special feature: Bean-to-Bar. We make our chocolate from bean to bar, with a slow maturation process that reveals the full aromatic richness of the original cocoas.

Our expertise is recognized by several prestigious awards, including a bronze medal from the Academy of Chocolate 2025, several awards at the International Chocolate Awards (2025 and 2026), as well as selections in the Gault & Millau, Le Petit Futé and Club des Croqueurs de Chocolat guides.

Each creation is handmade in small batches, using French, regional and seasonal ingredients, in order to offer an authentic, refined chocolate that respects the local terroir.
