BUOM (the sail) is similar in many ways to the Japanese santoku, the knife of the three virtues, which is particularly suitable for vegetables, meat and fish. Of course, beyond these three ingredients, it is a versatile chef's knife. With its large and strong blade, it allows you to work quickly and easily without tiring and easily cuts everything you need for dinner or snacks: bread, cheese, tomatoes, cheese, sausage. The knife shaft is driven into the handle and is secured against splitting by means of a ferrule. Notes on use: Please do not use for chopping bones or chopping frozen food. The hardening of the cutting area enables maximum sharpening with a long service life, but there is a risk of the blade breaking off if the tool is used incorrectly. Not suitable for dishwashers. On my own behalf: The knives are made entirely by hand by small family businesses in Vietnam. A comparison with the quality of CNC lasered and sharpened mass-produced goods is superfluous. Each handle is hand carved and the blades are cut out with large tin snips without punching. The knives may have small blemishes. However, these do not reduce their suitability for everyday use and operational strength, but rather increase their individuality and specialness. Please take this into account when making your purchase decision! Blade length: 16 cm Blade Thickness: 2mm Blade Material: Carbon Steel
