Split peas are part of the legume family. Like its cousins, split peas are rich in energy, vegetable protein, fiber and trace elements. This seed deserves to be invited more often to our tables. Preparation tips : For a soup, rinse the split peas and drain them, cut 3 onions. Cook them onions and add 1 volume (50g per person) of peas with a little pepper, cumin and a bay leaf. Add 5 volumes of water for 1 volume of peas and cook for 30 minutes after boiling. Salt and remove the bay leaf if you want to mix everything. A few drops of lemon juice, parsley leaves and even some vermicelli can come to decorate the whole!
