Kalmegh - 60 vegetarian caps * supports the immune system This is a (provisionally) permitted health claim*.  Kalamegh (Androraphis paniculata) is an important herb in Ayurveda. 

It is also known as Kalpanath, Indian Gentian or Bitterspitje. 

In addition, the herb is also called 'Indian echinacea' because of its properties. 

Kalmegh mainly grows in Asian countries and has a bitter taste that comes from the various bitter substances present in the plant. 

This has resulted in Kalmegh being nicknamed the 'king of bitters'.
