Bærenman Exclusive Edition Rum, 500ml, 40%

After 5 years of waiting, we finally have enough rum barrels ready to produce this very special drop.  Our blended rum is made from a mixture of smaller and larger barrels, which, due to their different internal surfaces, release more or less flavor in the same period of time, as well as giving the distillate a different depth. Depending on the type of toasting, the inside of the barrels, also known as char, and the associated color and smokiness can quickly be released into the distillate. However, the deep, dominant “wood tones”, the softness and sweetness of the tannins require a longer maturation period. In addition, in addition to our American bourbon barrels, we also use rum that has been aged in Bordeaux barrels made of French oak. In addition to the sweet vanilla tones, this also leads to deeper, nuttier aromas. And to top it all off, ex-Oloroso sherry casks are also used, which adds even more sweetness, fruitiness and a hint of dried berries and plums to the distillate. These 3 barrel types with their characteristic properties together result in a uniquely complex and round distillate that will inspire you right away!  A rum for real connoisseurs who want to let the individual components and their nuances melt on their tongue!
