Behind Bahia, there is Marie, passionate about decoration, in love with travel and the desire to share the crafts of the world.
Bahia was born in 2022 thanks to numerous travels and the discovery of many cultures, many crafts and more particularly those of the Maghreb.
My goal is to promote Maghreb crafts to find some at home! The objects you find in the shop are the result of close collaboration with each of our craftsmen.
Often unique pieces that are less traditional and more modern than what you are used to finding.
Each craftsman continues to work according to ancestral methods which are transmitted from generation to generation but with new designs!
We work in an ethical way, all the craftsmen who work with us are paid at their fair value to allow them to live from their art.
We try to have the smallest possible footprint on our planet earth.
All products are created from raw materials (doum, eucalyptus, glass, leather, clay,...) and no plastic is used to make our products.
We optimize our waste in store as much as possible and all the bubble wrap used by our craftsmen to protect our products as far as France is reused to protect your products.
