It's the story of a "lowercase i" who lives with his father in an old dictionary on a shelf. At vowel school, his father told him to beware of the "y". “He is a foreigner, he is not like us”. But the day when little i loses its dot in the schoolyard, vowels and punctuation marks will help it. Even "y" will participate and thus "tiny i" will make a new friend! Playing with letters and sounds, with accents and other punctuation marks, this story brings to life these vowels from here and elsewhere, from yesterday and today, to the delight of children.
