The stingy king

This morning, the donkey got up at dawn and is heading towards the village on sleepy paths. Along the way, he meets the hen: “Where are you going, donkey? ". "I'm going to run errands for the stingy king. he replies. The hen thinks that only a pack donkey can accept such a chore on these difficult paths and as she also wants to go to the village, she asks him to ride on her back for two fresh eggs. They will then meet the duck, the pig and the rabbit who will all join the hen on the back of the donkey. But when they arrive near the village, they will be surprised by the donkey, which is not as stupid as they thought... A tale where the animals thinking they are taking advantage of the donkey will realize that they had misjudged it. He will have shown not only kindness, but also cunning and modesty while showing lazy animals that he did not hesitate to make an effort, even if his position could offer him luxury and comfort...
