The three Musketeers

D'Artagnan wants to become the King's musketeer, but as soon as he arrives in Paris, his letter of recommendation is stolen by Milady, the spy. Shortly after, he was challenged to a duel by three musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis, but faced with Cardinal Richelieu's guards, they teamed up. D'Artagnan must then help the Queen and recover her diamond studs. He succeeds with his new friends and despite Milady. He returns just in time to save the Queen from being dishonored by the Cardinal in front of the King. Then, during the siege of La Rochelle, d'Artagnan and his friends will finally manage to capture Milady. D'Artagnan is finally accepted among the musketeers! All for one and one for all! Based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, an adaptation for the little ones of the adventures of d'Artagnan and his three friends, Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The story is broken down here to be accessible to the youngest: very short sentences, simple objects, all while following the plot of the book and respecting the author's imagination. Text: Alexandre Dumas, Illustrations: Frédéric Laurent, 20 pages.
