Otis

Two young boys, whom nothing brings together except their age, try to find their place in two very different worlds. Otis grows up in the camp of the hybrids, half-man half-animal creatures who adopted him a long time ago and who live between the incandescent Source Tree and the dark forest populated by fearsome Shadows. Ulysses goes to school like all the other children, but his difference keeps him away from others and is even the pretext for some to reject and exclude him. Each on their side will have to overcome the trials that will be imposed on them. And somehow, wouldn't their fates be linked? Under its aspects of a fantastic tale, this novel addresses the theme of children suffering from developmental disorders (Asperger's syndrome / autism) and their difficulties in apprehending others and the world around them.
