Everything that tells

Imelda kept a treasure that many did not know, fabulous objects, the mission of a lifetime.  And this morning, in his shop, something disturbed his gaze.  She didn't know what, she didn't know where, she didn't know well... When suddenly, she realized that everything was in its place and that was what saddened Imelda!  The objects on its shelves came from the depths of the pages, from wild fantasies, from forests, from castles or from loves, all at the same time terrible, superb and wonderful.  But if they were all there, it was because no one was reading these magic words anymore: “Once upon a time…”, which alone allowed them to join their intrepid stories.  If all the objects were arranged there, it is because their stories did not live… A tale about tales, or rather about the objects of tales, by Thomas Scotto, illustrated by Nicolas Lacombe.
