Little known, Voantsy Perifery pepper is a wild pepper growing on tall lianas (up to 20 meters from the ground) in the humid tropical forest areas of the island of Madagascar. Picking it by hand by local villagers is therefore difficult and dangerous. We can find different degrees of maturity of the berries during harvest, explaining the nuances in the color of the grains. Its flavor is powerful without being pungent, and its woody scent with a slight scent of fruits, citrus and flowers.
