The history of the name BARVÓ starts from afar: we are in Martinsicuro, at the end of the 19th century, an Abruzzo village overlooking the Adriatic coast where, as always, there has been the custom of attributing to every family a dialect nickname (le so-called "houses")
Our great-grandfather, Enrico Fedeli, born on August 15, 1884 was the first of the Fedeli di Martinsicuro dynasty to acquire this nickname which, in our dialect, meant to describe a man with a long and thick beard. Costantina Lucchetti, wife of Enrico, gave birth to 7 children, 2 girls and 5 boys.
The latter, once they became men, all undertook the work of the sailor, a profession that has then been handed down to most of their children, up to the present day.
Proud of this history and of my maritime roots (represented by the sailing ship), I, the first barber of the Fedeli family, decided to forge the BARVO 'brand for high quality products dedicated exclusively to the beard care of strong and determined men, such as the he was my great-grandfather, Enrico Barvo '.
